Ranthambore is India’s famous wildlife sanctuary, national park and tiger reserve. This famous national park is situated in Sawai Madhopur district of Indian state of Rajasthan. When it comes to choose the most wonderful destination for wildlife tourism in India Ranthambore tops the chart. Having rich flora and fauna the jungle of Ranthambore attracts wildlife enthusiasts, nature lovers and wildlife adventure enthusiasts from all over the world. Ranthambore National Park & Tiger Reserve is internationally famous for having good population and density of royal Bengal tigers. Apart from titers, other commonly seen animals at Ranthambore National Park in India are leopards, nilgai, wild dogs (dhole), wild boar, sambar, sloth bear, spotted deer (chital), striped hyenas, caracals, jungle cats, fishing cats, rusty spotted cats, chinkara, Indian fox, jackal, ruddy mongoose, Indian civets, palm civets, common mongoose, etc. The park has also rich birdlife and has been a fine place for birding. Tourists can enjoy best charm of this famous National Park in India with jeep safari rides. Rides are carried out at two times: 06:30 AM and 02:30 PM. Each ride lasts for about 3 hours. Accommodation facilities around the park are excellent. Indeed, Ranthambore is an ideal place for wildlife tourism in India.
